Web + Wins #27: Get found by people who don't know your name

This Week's Update

I'm feeling really behind this week, and it's only Tuesday 🫠.

We spent an incredible weekend with the family in Brevard, NC. It was the first trip with a baby, so the car was loaded down, but we made it and had the best time. Unfortunately, as the trip was winding down, I started to get that Sunday Scaries feeling that I should have been working, or at least handling some of the small stuff. That's a tough part about entrepreneurship and being self-employed -- you never really turn it off! But everything has tradeoffs, and I'm so grateful for the flexibility to spend time with family.

So here we are back at it, getting caught up, and trying to keep all the plates spinning in the air!

Get a Web Win: Learn from 18 Experts -- How to get found by new customers.

This one was a fun project I've been working on. Last month I reached out to 18 people in my network: SEO strategists, marketers, brand designers, consultants, and small business owners who are actively growing, and asked them one question:

When a customer has never heard of you, how do you actually get found?

The answers ranged from car wraps to $5/day ad strategies — and there’s something in there for every kind of business owner.
