Web + Wins #1: Put Your Blog To Work
What's Up With Snaply Sites
It's finally here ☺️ the first official Snaply Sites Web + Wins newsletter! I've wanted to launch this for a while and kept putting it off, but here we are. If you're reading this, thank you for being here. My goal is to show up in your inbox every Tuesday morning with a quick tip, a cool person I've met, and a little behind-the-scenes of building Snaply. Let's do this!
Get a Web Win: Put Your Blog to Work
If you have a blog or insights page on your website and aren't using it regularly, you're leaving real value on the table. A well-used blog does three things at once: it helps you get found on Google and AI search results, it gives potential clients a reason to trust you before they ever reach out, and it lets your business's personality and values actually show up online.
A great example of this in action: our client, We Love Construction, owned by Samantha Diaz, recently used their blog to highlight an incredible in-kind construction project they completed for The Hive Community, a local Columbia, SC nonprofit. That one post does a lot of heavy lifting for their business:
Shows they care about more than the bottom line
Puts their values into action
Builds trust with clients who share those same community values
Creates local SEO value by connecting their brand to Columbia and real organizations
Gives them something genuine and shareable on social media and email
A blog doesn’t have to just be tips and tricks – use real stories from your business.
Convo Corner: Jade Pruett, HelloSEO
This week's spotlight is on Jade Pruett of HelloSEO, who recently hosted her first in-person SEO Power Hour, and it did not disappoint! Jade confirmed what a lot of us are wondering about: SEO is still very much worth your attention. Google holds about 84% of the search market share, but more people are turning to AI tools like ChatGPT to ask questions and find businesses. That shift matters, and knowing how to show up in multiple places is becoming essential.
Jade is my go-to for staying sharp on all things SEO for our web clients. If you're a business owner trying to make sense of what's changing in search, give her a follow.
